The German Chapter of INCOSE - or in German: Gesellschaft für Systems Engineering - is a non-profit organisation and represents the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) in Germany and in the surrounding countries with a native German speaking population.  As INCOSE chapter, GfSE participates in the INCOSE activities to foster systems engineering. In  Europe, the biannual European Systems Engineering Conference (EuSEC) is the main event organised together with the other INCOSE Region 3 chapters.

In its home country the activities of the GfSE comprise conferences and working groups to systems engineeirng subjects, and supports other organisations' conferences with content relevant in systems engineering, among them the SubConf. A student award for master theses with systems engineering content is a further cornerstone in the GfSE's yearly programme.
